THE HIGH LIFE

Ok, so I'm going to start off by explaining the title for this post: this look is all about high things--high ponytail, high heel boots, and high waisted pants. We got really creative with this shoot and I think you can tell how much I enjoyed shooting this look from the photos. 

This look really demonstrates how you can transition a look from summer to fall/winter. In the summer I would definitely wear this look without the cardigan and with some open toe booties or gladiators. And then to transition for fall/winter you just have to add some layers and wear booties with a higher ankle to reduce how much skin is exposed.

This look basically is a sum of a lot of my favorite pieces to wear. I love high-waisted, wide-leg pants, I love plain white tees, I love jumbo cardigans, and I love me some black booties. 

All these elements work together because this is a tighter fit tee, which balances the volume of the wide-leg pants. And then the matching black of the cardigan and booties make everything look very streamlined. 

To finish everything off, my high pony and big hoops add a little bit of an urban city vibe. So overall it makes it an edgy and structured, but casual look.
