(JUMP)SUIT UP!

Hey party people! Happy Monday! I hope that y'all had a great weekend. I know i had quite a relaxing one but was also semi productive. Did anyone go to the pride parade? Or go to the beach? Anyone have any fun trips planned for the fourth of july? Let me know in the comments what you're up to!

I loooooove today's look because i love jumpsuits. I'm pretty sure that i could live with a closet of just jumpsuits. Who's with me? I think everyone needs a silky jumpsuit to feel glamorous, a printed jumpsuit to show off your fun side, a fancy jumpsuit for work events that just screams power, a denim jumpsuit because I love denim and think it looks so classy, and a short jumpsuit aka a romper because you gotta show off those legs every once in a while. 

What I love most about jumpsuits is their versatility. And they are so freaking comfortable. Like you literally feel like you're wearing pajamas all day, which is a bonus in my book. Anyway, a jumpsuit can be worn for so many different things. For example, I could wear this one to work with a solid kimono over it and black heeled sandals. I would wear it just to walk around the city it with flat sandals, or with a white tee under with white sneakers. And then if I were going out for drinks, I would just wear the jumpsuit with fun sandals or wedges. Jumpsuits can so easily be dressed up or dressed down for the occasion. The only negative about jumpsuits is having to take it off to go to the bathroom, but I’d say pros beat the cons here. 

This jumpsuit I happened to get at a small boutique on long beach island while on vacation with my family. I immediately saw it and knew I had to try it on. And I was worried because it was a size large and so i knew it was going to be too big, but I shortened the straps and added a belt, and voila! It worked. This jumpsuit is so fun!

Funny story, though. I meant to pair this jumpsuit with this black belt and black heels, but I accidentally only packed one of the shoes for my shoot, so I had to wear these brown sandals that I packed for another outfit with the jumpsuit instead. But I definitely think because the stripe and ruffle on this jumpsuit is so fun, you only need to do simple accessories. I wouldn't go crazy with any brightly colored pumps or large dangling earrings. I would wear simple black or brown heels, add a belt if you feel like it, and simple gold and silver jewelry. Let the jumpsuit speak for itself. 

So, how do you feel about jumpsuits? Do you love them just as much as I do? I really suggest adding more jumpsuits into your wardrobe. They're so easy to wear, they're super comfortable, and they're very versatile. Don't believe me? Buy one and you will never want to wear anything but jumpsuits again in your life.
